              COOKIES POLICY

              Abstract

In order to deliver the best value to our users while maintaining the highest level of security, the The Lab Label website implements a selection of cookies. Cookies are small pieces of data sent from The Lab Label and stored in your browser after you consent to their use when you first visit our website. We use our own cookies and cookies provided by trusted third parties to ensure the highest level of security, to improve your experience on The Lab Label, and to track the effectiveness of our marketing activities.

As a GDPR-compliant website, we put the power to control your privacy in your hands. We will never install cookies in your browser without your explicit consent. Our cookie notice can be annoying, but it's there to inform you fully about what cookies we'd like to use, and lets you decide whether or not to accept them on your own. You can check that our cookie settings work exactly the way we say they do by accessing your browser's developer tools.

              Utility cookies

We use three types of utility cookies that allow you to use The Lab Label securely and in full: session cookies, a security cookie protecting you from phishing attacks, and consent cookies.

              Statistics cookies

We also implement cookies provided by selected and trusted third parties that we use for measuring the success of our marketing activities and UX improvements. We only use these cookies to track where our traffic comes from and how users interact with our website - we don't access any of your personal data or preferences.

              Cookie List

              1. Session Cookie

              Type of Cookie : Utility

              Cookie Provider: Shopify

              What it Does

Session cookies are used to make the user session (from login to logout) work. Without it, the user session mechanism doesn't work and neither does any personalization for the site. These cookies are a bare necessity and while they do identify your browser uniquely, we have no interest in storing this information. Sessions are persisted in the cache and not the database, so your session will only persist for up to 30 days, after which the data is gone and the cookie cannot identify you anymore.

              1. CSRF Cookie

              Type of Cookie: Utility

              Cookie Provider: Shopify

              What it Does

Cross-site request forgery (CSRF) token cookies prevent even the craftiest of hackers from hijacking our site on their own domain to get your accounts hacked.

              1. Consent Cookie

              Type of Cookie: Utility

              Cookie Provider: Shopify

              What it Does

We install this cookie so The Lab Label can recognize that you have given the consent to receiving cookies and load the page accordingly.

              1. Facebook Cookies

              Type of Cookie: Statistics

              Cookie Provider: Facebook, Inc.

              What it Does

We use a Facebook pixel to better track the traffic we receive from Facebook and Instagram and to measure the effectiveness of our adverts and sponsored posts. The Facebook pixel will install several cookies if you consent to statistics cookies on The Lab Label.

              Type of Cookie: Statistics

              Cookie Provider: Google LLC

              What it Does

We use Google Analytics to measure traffic on our site, to analyze sources of traffic, and to monitor the effectiveness of our marketing activities. Google Analytics uses several different cookies, which will be installed in your browser if you consent to statistics cookies on The Lab Label.

              What it Does

We use a Twitter conversion tracking code to better track the traffic we receive from Twitter and to measure the effectiveness of our adverts and sponsored posts. The Twitter Website Tag will install several cookies if you consent to statistics cookies on The Lab Label.
